Fintech lending company seeking a Finance Manager


This role is responsible for supporting funding initiatives, maintaining financial controls, and ensuring the financial health of our lending operations. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to manage financial strategy, assess risk, and meet financial targets.


Your role:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Support funding initiatives, including capital raising and managing relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements, providing accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and performance monitoring of the lending portfolio
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the financial performance of the lending operations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive financial decision-making and support business growth.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and transparency.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, with significant experience in a financial leadership role within the consumer lending industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in the lending sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Experience in developing and implementing financial controls, risk management frameworks, and performance metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
