Summary:


The Director of Maintenance will oversee all aspects of maintenance, utilities, and inventory management. This role requires a leader with a strong track record of enhancing manufacturing capabilities and performance to minimize downtime and maximize plant efficiency. The Director will ensure that all activities meet high standards for food safety and product quality.


  • Provide leadership for the technical services organization and manage both direct and indirect employees.
  • Oversee capital project engineering design and execution to ensure timely completion, collaborating with relevant vendors.
  • Develop and manage annual and long-term capital project budgets.
  • Support key performance initiatives by coordinating effectively with R&D, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Product Supply teams.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes deliver high-quality products efficiently and on schedule.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing practices within the technical services operation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Optimize organizational structure to meet operational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain quality measures, preventive maintenance schedules, and performance standards.
  • Lead efforts in employee safety, environmental compliance, and product quality while meeting schedule commitments and cost objectives.
  • Represent plant in interactions with state and local officials and dairy community leaders.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
