Equipment Financing Sales Account Executive 

Join the Centra Funding team as we expand our sales team in Plano, TX We are looking for motivated, driven individuals with excellent communication skills. As a Centra Funding Equipment Financing Sales Account Executive, you would become part of a growing, fast-paced environment, engaged in prospecting new clients through outbound sales efforts to equipment manufacturers and distributors who are needing to provide financing options to their customers; providing finance options to businesses nationwide; understand the needs of small business owners; building and maintaining a client database using Salesforce and HubSpot, and learn to exceed sales production goals as you develop an understanding of the equipment finance industry. You must enjoy talking to customers about their business and understand their financing needs. This position will entail cold-calling, email/text campaigns, in-person visits, and attending trade shows to source potential financing programs with new equipment vendor relationships.


Centra Funding is a true funding company that uses its own funds to provide small businesses financing programs to the customers of equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and dealers. With over 40 years of industry experience, Centra Funding finances businesses in almost every industry sector.


New sales representatives receive an annual base salary with high commission payouts (unlimited earning potential) along with healthcare benefits, PTO, 401(k) match, and daily catered lunches. The role includes an extensive sales training program with the potential for rapid advancement and compensation. 

Market the Centra Funding Financing Program to U.S.-based vendors and manufacturers to achieve the following:

 

  • Generate a volume of funded transactions to meet goals.
  • Generate a high volume of outbound calls and emails.
  • Originate transactions from $5,000 to $250,000 in deal size.
  • Originate new credit applications. 
  • Originate new equipment vendor accounts. 
  • Some travel may be needed to further develop established equipment vendor relationships and attend national industry tradeshows.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of closing and pricing transactions, deal flow, and overall equipment finance industry knowledge and strategies.
  • Successfully manage the Centra origination and closing process with positive interaction with credit and all other administrative staff.


Qualifications: 


2 years of college education or 2 years sales experience preferred; Strong desire to succeed in an inside sales environment. This position is open to entry-level sales representatives.
