Overview:

Our Seattle based IoT technology client is looking for a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to enhance internal business processes and support business applications. This role involves collaborating with developers, vendors, and third-party support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for internal applications, ensuring high availability and minimal disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Gather requirements and analyze business processes for system improvements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for SharePoint and similar systems.
  • Test and validate system enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Propose solutions to streamline operations and document detailed business process models.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to enhance system utilization.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and IT professionals.
  • Assist in project planning, coordination, and tracking to ensure successful execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting applications like SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business requirements.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and IT enterprise process standards (e.g., ITIL, Lean, PCI, SOX).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams (Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations).
