General Summary:
The Lead Business Systems Analyst will operate under the guidance of the IT Business Applications Manager, delivering essential services such as requirements gathering, process evaluation and enhancement, system architecture and documentation, project oversight, stakeholder engagement, user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational transition planning. This role serves as a critical link between business and technical teams to ensure the delivery of application solutions that prioritize value, quality, user experience, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to ascertain business needs and objectives.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive requirements, including functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.
Business Process Evaluation:
- Process Mapping: Examine current business processes, mapping workflows, and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
- Gap Analysis: Assess existing processes against desired outcomes to identify gaps and propose solutions.
System Design and Documentation:
- Solution Design: Craft system solutions that fulfill business requirements and align with organizational objectives.
- Documentation: Produce system documentation, including flowcharts, data models, and process diagrams.
Project Coordination:
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, information security, legal, and project managers, to ensure effective project execution.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, finance, business administration, or a related field, coupled with five years of experience in IT business analysis, including designing and documenting requirements and performing quality assessment functions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
