Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Temecula

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Compensation: Hourly wage with comprehensive benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter invoices into the system.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and verify electronic transfers, checks, and ACH payments.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and maintain accurate records.
  • Account Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy in accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Daily Store Reconciliation: Verify daily store transactions for accuracy.
  • Month-End Procedures: Assist in month-end closing and provide necessary documentation.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
