Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant for Clients to join our team at CSMC. As a key member of our business services team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports and accounting files, assisting with accounts payable services, and reviewing general ledger entries for accuracy.

This is a remote position, and qualified applicants will need to have the ability and technical skills to work independently while staying connected to their team. If you have strong bookkeeping skills, customer service skills, and experience in managing several clients at one time, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and accounting files.
  • Assist with accounts payable services, including reviewing and auditing vendor invoices, preparing check requests, and monitoring financial activities.
  • Review general ledger entries for accuracy and prepare year-end journal entries, including accruals and depreciation.
  • Assist in other business services-related activities and compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Strong bookkeeping skills and experience in managing several clients at one time.
  • Customer service skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, business principles, and standard operating practices.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and self-start, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and good verbal and written skills.
