The Hip Product Manager will actively lead the OrthoGrid Hip fluoro-based navigation software portfolio (Hip AI & Hip Preservation) from the development to the full commercialization and training of advancements of current products and their next generation. The Hip Product Manager will develop the software product vision and roadmap; lead voice of customer feedback collection; collect, establish and prioritize the user needs; manage the product backlog and establish priorities; and manage the project to ensure value addition to the product. The Hip Product Manager will analyze market trends in a competitive environment to establish best go-to-market strategies for successful product launches. This position will be responsible for supporting the commercialization strategy and the sales and clinical account manager Teams’ needs by creating relevant training and marketing materials to push the OGS brand and technologies forward in the marketplace. The Hip Product Manager will produce and implement product strategies and plans to achieve company goals and will effectively communicate with cross-functional US & OUS teams and contribute in a high-level, dynamic environment.


 

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical expert of the Hip product portfolio.
  • Identify and prioritize new and existing marketing opportunities to build the Hip Portfolio and the OrthoGrid brand.
  • Develop global business cases for new hip projects that include strategic fit, market sizing & financial modeling, high level unmet clinical needs definition, competitive landscape & commercial implications,
  • Generate user needs and product insights through methods such as executing primary and secondary research, engaging KOL voice of customer activities, visiting customers and attending society meetings.
  • Support the R&D team by creating user stories, defining the performance criteria and prioritizing the product backlogs.
  • Manage the Hip projects from beginning to end.
  • Lead development of go-to-market & roll-out strategies for new product launches.
  • Lead & Build the product training strategy, content creation and distribution to support Sales & Clinical Account Managers, and maintain high-level of customer experience & satisfaction.
  • Build the messaging and marketing content (Digital, Print, Video), in collaborating with KOLs, and the Marketing Communication team to support the commercialization process
  • Collect and build necessary market intelligence and competitive analysis.
  • Develop marketing content related to product portfolio in collaboration with the Marketing Communication team to increase engagement and/or drive new customer acquisition (ASCs, external sales partners)
  • Define the product clinical needs, identify new clinical studies and KOLs, and develop new clinical resources to drive growth and engagement in key market segments.
  • Define and support the annual trade show strategy and coordinate and manage each with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with and support the Medical Education Manager to establish activities’ needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communication and Social Media manager to:

- Align Hip product messaging with Artificial Intelligence and overall OrthoGrid Messaging

- Coordinate website & social messaging updates

- Support organic creative Digital-Social Media content creation curation and management


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of medical device product management, with 1+ year of experience in training & education. 
  • Minimum 5 years of Orthopedic navigation and/or orthopedic experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and execution of developing and implementing high impact, multi-channel, go-to-market efforts for B2B solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving results with marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Ability to develop clinical expertise in orthopedic, hip procedures.
  • Understanding of the Agile methodology and development of user needs and user stories.
  • Commercialization/product launch experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Hands-on experience with complex market and financial analysis.
  • Adept at leading, influencing, and communicating with diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at leading, influencing, and communicating with groups of KOLs.
  • Excellent communication, written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter, results driven, and competent managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using market research to inform product development strategies.
  • Track record of driving rapid growth of innovative technologies.
