A Managed Care organization in New York City is actively seeking a highly motivated, innovative individual to join our team as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Hybrid
- Hours: M-F; 9am-5pm (flex)
- Location: New York City
Position Summary:
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department's leadership team
- Assist in ensuring that the department's day-to-day operations are running smoothly
- Support the department in scheduling all department meetings, interviews, and maintaining filing systems to managing HR databases
- Conduct all administrative functions in the HR department to include, but not limited to formatting reports, copying, scanning, filing, mailings and faxing
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the HR department, this includes employee information, confidential invoices or other sensitive department and organization information
- Enter and update employee information in ADP as directed
- Maintain and update all HR forms and documents as directed
- Reconcile VP of HR corporate cards expenses and complete expense report for approval and processing
- Retrieve and sort all HR department mail and distribute to appropriate HR staff
- Set up and coordinate meetings and conferences VP of HR, and other members of the Human Resources Department as requested
Education/Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of administrative support experience
- Strong, demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
- Strong written and oral communication skills
