Key Responsibilities:
- Researching and pitching to media outlets.
- Develop and manage media lists and databases.
- Taking part in brainstorming sessions and suggesting innovative ideas.
- Developing and distributing press releases and media alerts.
- Create, edit, and proofread social media content for several brands and manage calendars
- Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Metadata, Keyword Search, etc., to maximize copy's reach.
- Research and document media coverage and track metrics.
- Develop positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, media, and vendors.
- Assist with the organization and execution of various events.
- Answering phones, responding to emails and inquiries, and performing other administrative tasks.
- And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field required;
- 1-3 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, or communications;
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once;
- Experience with stakeholder management, including customers, employees, media, and influencers;
- Knowledge of social media and content creation;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the success of communications initiatives;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute on tactical initiatives quickly and efficiently.
