The Door is a New York-based creative media relations agency with exciting clients in culinary, wine + spirits, hospitality, consumer products, travel and entertainment. We specialize in public relations, influencer relations, social media and marketing.


We're looking to hire entry level executives to join us in our Los Angeles office.

In this role, you will also be mentored and learn on a daily basis to cultivate growth inside a great company with a positive culture. You’ll be working with colleagues who are not just good at their jobs, but amazing people, as well as have the opportunity to creatively collaborate with sister agencies within Dolphin Entertainment.


Duties

  • Working closely with a team of 3-4 executives on 8-10 clients, a sampling of which include independent, SoCal-based restaurant groups, a food hall, an e-commerce artisanal food brand, a culinary apparel line, an emerging tequila brand and more
  • Participating in creative strategies and brainstorms
  • Conducting research, media monitoring and distributing media clips to clients
  • Creating agendas and press kit materials, as well as participating in client calls, meetings and events
  • Creating target press and influencer lists
  • Writing tailored pitches, and pitching a range of local and national media as well as influencers within the culinary, spirits, travel and lifestyle sectors
  • Oversee interns and collaborate with NYC-based colleagues on the internship program


Qualifications

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Have a passion for food/beverage/culinary brands
  • 0-2 years experience (internship, agency or in-house) in communications and/or related fields is preferred
