FDC is headquartered in Coral Gables. Our company is only considering local candidates already residing in Miami within a daily commute distance. This position is 100% on-site.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing Full Cycle payrolls on different schedules (Biweekly, Weekly)
  • Manages and maintains payroll system modules including Time and Attendance
  • Implementing and enforcing payroll rules, procedures
  • Manages the Payroll Tax Module in coordination with different states’ jurisdictions
  • Managers Payroll inbox in Outlook and Payroll inbox
  • Work collaboratively in Payroll related projects with other departments withing the organization
  • Work on Payroll related projects independently without minimal supervision
  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service experience to stakeholders withing the organization
  • Train and support all our stakeholders within the organization in the Payroll System
  • Maintain the Payroll System to comply with states rules and regulations including wage mandates.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Ability to train and coach others
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Knowledge of full cycle payroll
  • Knowledge of payroll rules and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in excel
  • Ability to work as Team, particularly in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Ideally BA in Business Administration, HR, or Accounting preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in processing payroll, ideally in hospitality, retail, or F&B companies.
