The ideal candidate is a highly organized, outgoing, and detail-oriented team player who will lead our Sales Department. Roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Sales:
Responsible for company sales targets
- Total revenue goals
- Gross profit and gross margin goals
- New account generation goals
- Existing customer growth goals
Lead development and lead nurturing
- Close new business via networking, sales calls, trade show participation, targeted industry penetration, and nurturing marketing-generated leads
- Schedule and conduct discovery sessions/consultations with potential leads
Prospect qualification and turnover
- Target and evaluate prospective customers
- Develop leads into qualified prospects
- Guide qualified prospects through the ITI proven process up to and including the quotation stage
Trade shows, conferences, events
- Identify key industry events in target markets for ITI participation
- Participate in trade shows to network, penetrate target markets/customers, and prospect for leads
- Exhibit at shows as applicable
Marketing:
Interface with and manage third party marketing firm
- Maximize effectiveness of digital marketing efforts
- Ideate and edit website blogs that address target markets and customers
- Ensure website, blogs, social media communication, and other messaging is coordinated and effectively communicates ITI’s strategic positioning and value proposition
- Manage email marketing campaigns
- Develop/edit email communications
- Track and follow up leads generated
- Evaluate/modify programs as necessary
Identify and create ways to enhance ITI's reputation and reach
Keep marketing focused on ideal customer profile
Leadership / Management / Accountability:
Member of our Leadership Team
- Attend weekly Leadership Team Meeting
- Monitoring/tracking/reporting of existing customer and prospecting KPIs
- Leadership quarterly priorities and weekly to dos
- Discuss and resolve issues
Lead weekly Sales Meeting
- Review / discuss previous week’s sales activity / KPIs including POs received and quotes generated
- Sales team quarterly priorities and weekly to dos
- Discuss and resolve issues
Lead monthly Profitability Meeting
- Review shipment profitability with account managers
- Discover and resolve profitability issues
Implement and lead Sales Department initiatives
Liaison between sales and other department managers to ensure smooth working relationships
Maintain positive relationship with direct reports
Develop and liaison with independent sales reps
Grow and manage channel partner relationships
Manage HubSpot CRM:
- Maximize effectiveness and use of HubSpot
- Coordinate marketing efforts with HubSpot capabilities
- Liaison with HubSpot CRM contractors and internal users
