Office Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing phone systems, and assisting with various clerical tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Assist with front desk duties, including receiving and distributing mail
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Handle shipping with freight companies, UPS, and Fedex.
- Handle orders and invoicing.
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Spanish knowledge preferred.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Experience with calendar management and scheduling appointments
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions. Internship positions are also paid.
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
