A leading sports talent management agency is seeking a passionate and driven Social and Digital Media Content Specialist that will effectively grow the social presence and following of professional athletes through content creation and social engagement across all social platforms. Strong candidates will have experience capturing and producing photos, video and/or designing graphics. Candidates with motion graphics and/or animation experience also are encouraged to apply.


Position is based in Charlotte, N.C. metropolitan area. The sport of focus for the position is NASCAR auto racing.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate annual and weekly social content calendars
  • Create engaging and effective posts for social channels
  • Shoot, produce and edit photos, videos and graphics for social posts
  • Monitor tags, mentions and comments
  • Conduct social media analytics and reporting
  • Stay current on digital and social media trends and implement best practices
  • Participate in team meetings, strategy and brainstorming sessions


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably with a sports or entertainment-oriented property, team, athlete or brand
  • Proven skills in digital photography, videography and graphics (must have at least 2 of the 3 skills)
  • Bonus if candidate has experience managing and posting on social media accounts on behalf of a personality, team or property
  • Proficient with creative industry standard software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro,
  • Bonus if candidate is proficient with software such as After Effects, Blender, Autodesk Maya or similar equivalents
  • Knowledge of social and content marketing best practices and trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker and self-starter with outgoing personality that is able to mesh with professional athlete and teams
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task on daily basis
  • Flexibility to work weekends and ability to travel frequently to sporting events and off-site appearances
