Job Summary

A Digital Content Specialist / Digital Event Specialist creates online content and coordinates event visibility to increase traffic and/or improve sales for a company or website. Their responsibilities may include:

  • Content creation through on site install photos, videos, interviews
  • Writing blog posts, creating content for marketing campaigns, and producing and curating high quality digital content for social media platforms and company websites
  • Setting up and breaking down event displays
  • Assist with social media accounts, including community management, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating content
  • Researching trending topics and industry trends to identify insights and aid in content strategy development

Requirements And Skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Photography and video recording experience
  • Familiarity with social media marketing campaigns
  • Event/display experience preferred
  • Experience in blogging or web copywriting
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, graphic design, communications, English, journalism, business
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Local travel required
  • Regional travel on a per project basis
  • Ability to lift and carry event material including tables, banners, samples, etc.
