A new opportunity for a Gas/LNG Process Engineer to join a leading provider in the LNG industry on a 6 month W-2 contract.


Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced LNG Process Engineer to join a Houston-based client team. The successful candidate will manage a team of three engineers, providing technical expertise in LNG process design and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with commercial and regulatory teams to support the overall success of our projects.


Process Engineer Responsibilities:


  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of three engineers, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical expertise in LNG process design, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance: Reinforce safety protocols and awareness, working closely with commercial and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Project Support: Oversee commissioning activities, ensuring all systems are operational and meet design specifications.
  • Process Control: Maintain and improve process control systems to enhance operational reliability and performance.


Process Engineer Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a process engineer in the gas industry, with a strong focus on LNG ideally.
  • Commissioning: Proven experience in commissioning LNG facilities or related gas processing plants.
  • Process Control Systems: Deep understanding of process control systems and their application in LNG processes.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a technical team effectively.
