X4 Technology is seeking a skilled Process Engineer with extensive experience in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to contribute to our esteemed EPC projects. This role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid history of managing engineering projects and executing modifications in existing facilities, from initial concepts to successful commissioning and operational start-up. A comprehensive understanding of essential process engineering principles is crucial, along with knowledge of related engineering disciplines. Familiarity with local and international standards, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements specific to LNG, is required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Expertise in Syngas technologies, particularly in Ammonia, Methanol, and Hydrogen processes
  • Proficiency in ASPENPLUS software
  • Experience in developing Feasibility Studies, Basic Engineering Design Packages (BED), and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for licensed technologies
  • Ability to develop and enhance process flow diagrams
  • Familiarity with process-related standards
  • Strong presentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct studies aimed at optimizing the Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) for LNG facilities
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the separation of Ammonia from metal contaminants
  • Oversee and manage process engineering tasks and deliverables within the engineering team
  • Collaborate closely with Process Technology Teams, Project Engineering Managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
