Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead and work independently. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in accounting and financial management, with a strong emphasis on maintaining financial integrity and driving the company's financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
  • Supervise the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and collection.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with payroll processing and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Oversee tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all financial data.
  • Utilize advanced accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide administrative and strategic support as needed.
  • Collect and process weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) and invoices.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an accounting manager or in a similar senior accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Unanet).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Leadership skills and experience managing a team.


Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
