If awarded, the Aviation Security Project Manager will oversee the security operations for multiple airports under the assigned Airport Authority on behalf of Allied Universal Security Services. This role requires ensuring compliance with Federal Transportation Security Regulations and managing a comprehensive security program that meets all contractual and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager will administratively support Allied Universal Airport leadership by managing and tracking deliverables, managing project deadlines, driving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievement and company initiatives.

Responsibilities:


Contract Compliance and Financial Management:

  • Lead the overall management and performance of the security contract, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions
  • Develop and manage the budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures
  • Ensure all security operations comply with Federal Transportation Security Regulations
  • Oversee the quality control program, ensuring high standards of security performance and continuous improvement

Emergency Response Coordination and Resource Management:

  • Plan and coordinate resource deployment within the metropolitan region during emergencies or inclement weather
  • Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet operational requirements
  • Oversee the selection, performance, and management of subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance.

Team Leadership:

  • Direct and support the Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, Training Coordinators, Quality Control managers, and their teams at each airport
  • Ensure direct and indirect reports meet company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis

Client Liaison and Reporting:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Create, track, and maintain various weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports utilizing internal systems and dashboards

Training and Development:

  • Ensure comprehensive training programs are in place and that staff are fully trained to meet all regulatory and contractual requirements.

Qualifications (Must Have) :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in aviation security
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing multiple sites or large teams
  • In-Depth understanding of TSA Regulations and aviation security requirements
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize multiple systems and applications
  • Ability to work with new or existing presentation to create and deliver appealing, persuasive, and effective presentations
  • Demonstrated problem solving, confidence and decision-making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial skills with the ability to analyze data and report on regional metrics
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate time sensitive tasks and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management
  • Emergency response planning and resource coordination
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain Airport ID, local Guard Card/License and has a valid driver's license


Must possess one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Homeland Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of management experience


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

  • Law enforcement, military and/or contract or proprietary security services experience
  • Airport Certified Employee - Security (ACE) Certification Is highly desired or ability to obtain within 6 months of assignment.
  • Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with alarm monitoring systems and emergency response procedures
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures, hiring processes, and security system administration
  • Experience managing security operations in an airport environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
  • Advanced degrees or additional certifications in security management or related fields
  • Proven track record of improving security processes and outcomes
