We are seeking talented PRN Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team  

Position Summary:

  • Completes mental health screenings for inpatient psychiatric admission.
  • Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions. 
  • Obtains the required information to facilitate mental health admissions.
  • Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.
  • Completes pre-authorization of services. 
  • Welcomes patient(s) and completes paperwork upon arrival to mental health facility. 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Certifications/Licenses: 

  • CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline.

Experience:

  • Mental health screenings and mental health experience preferred.
  • Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
