Executive Assistant

LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit in the Elkridge, MD area looking to bring on Executive Assistant to support their team. This is a long term temporary position with the possibility to be converted to a full time employee. The hourly pay rate will range between $23-$29 per hour based on experience. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of c-suite level experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
  • Handle incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, and respond or redirect as appropriate.
  • Conduct research and compile data for reports and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meetings and other executive-level events.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executives.
  • Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the executives.
  • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
