Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Business and Partnerships Development Manager with a strong background in building partnerships within the veterinary industry. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with veterinary practice owners and other key industry stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to drive new business by promoting our sellside advisory services facilitating sales of practices and ensuring that practice owners are supported throughout their buying or selling journey. This role involves attending and speaking at industry events webinars and conferences to promote the company network with prospective clients and foster longterm partnerships. You will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure client needs are met and that all interactions support the companys growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify develop and implement sales strategies to engage veterinary practice owners looking to buy or sell practices.

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline/client database by networking and establishing strong relationships with veterinary practice owners.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales marketing) to align sales strategies with overall business goals and ensure that sales targets are met or exceed expectations.

  • Acquire sales and business opportunities by proactively finding leads and presenting our sellside advisory services to potential clients offering solutions to meet their specific needs and goals.

  • Plan and execute lunch or dinners and events designed to network and build relationships that will convert to business deals & partnership by promoting the companys services to potential clients.

  • Speak at and/or attend conferences webinars trade shows and other networking events and functions to build your professional network and promote our brand and services to practice owners in the veterinary industry.

  • Conceptualize and build presentation materials for conferences and events that will attract potential clients to get our services.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to practice owners providing insights and guidance throughout the buying or sales process.

  • Conduct market research to identify sales business and partnerships opportunities within the industry.

  • Stay uptodate on industry trends and market conditions to offer clients the most current information and opportunities.

  • Negotiate sales agreements contracts and partnership terms that align with both company and client objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.

  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding target sales obtained in the veterinary industry.

  • Strong understanding of the veterinary market including the challenges and opportunities practice owners face when buying or selling their practices.

  • Exceptional communication negotiation presentation and relationshipbuilding skills.

  • Ability to independently manage a sales pipeline meet ambitious targets and close deals.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience speaking at and attending industry events and networking effectively.

  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.

  • A proactive solutionsoriented approach with a passion for helping veterinarians achieve their goals.
