Position Overview

At Xmars, we are driven by our passion for innovation and a commitment to customer-centricity. We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our offerings and deliver exceptional experiences. The Director of Partnerships will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic alliances and expanding our business ecosystem with Amazon. This role will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that align with both Xmars and Amazon business objectives. This leadership role requires a results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of partnership dynamics, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across various teams. You will be instrumental in identifying, creating, and nurturing relationships that drive growth and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development: Design and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy that enhances Amazon’s service offerings and customer experience. 

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key external partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to identify collaborative opportunities. 

Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential partners and assess partnership opportunities. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and legal teams to negotiate, structure, and execute partnership agreements. 

Performance Tracking: Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the performance of partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • 8+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances, ideally within e-commerce or technology sectors. 
  • 3 years+ working at Amazon Advertising required
  • Proven track record of successfully establishing and managing high-impact partnerships. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
