Job Summary

Loudoun County's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Customer Service Specialist at Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park. Hanson Regional Park is the latest regional park for PRCS which opened in September 2022 and offers 257-acres of engaging recreational activities located in Aldie, Virginia. The park is surrounded by three bustling neighborhoods and three local public schools making it a critical hub to serve an expanding and evolving community in Southern Loudoun County.

We are currently hiring for the following location(s):

Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park, Aldie, VA
Responsibilities will include: Maintain Park office hours to provide courteous and timely customer service to park patrons. Communicate with facility renters on rules and regulations. Collect and process program registration for upcoming PRCS activities. Provide administrative support to park staff on various tasks. Oversees telephone communications within the office. Other essential duties related to the specific role and departmental assignment may also be performed as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related work experience in a clerical position involving contact with the public and working with automated systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements

Criminal, credit, and DMV background checks required. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. The driving record of an individual may be reviewed annually for qualification purposes. At the time of hire or within four (4) months of employment, hold First Aid/CPR certifications.
