The mission will be to Lead Technical ownership & decisions of EPMS solution within Western region, manage technical risks, Develop competencies in DP Ops team and support tendering and sales with optimized architecture & manhours.
You will be responsible for the below technical topics:
Project Execution:
- Execute the complex engineering tasks for EPMS and tenant metering system
- Support PMs for change orders
- Perform Quality checks
- Monitor the progress of all engineering deliverables
Technical Management:
- Manage technical risks and technical escalations for the projects
- Ensure technical viability of the optimized solution.
- Develop technical success story and lessons learned.
Competency Development:
- Develop the competency of University Recruits & Junior application engineers in your region.
- Share best practice within team during technical forum & virtual teams
Business Acumen:
- Work closely with Solution sales engineers & Solution architect to support complex pre-sales opportunities
- Validate the technical scope & hours in the quotation
Standardization & Efficiency
- Develop and maintain Standard scope of work.
- Develop and deploy plans for improving efficiency of EPMS project deliverables
Qualifications & Experience, Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on control systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (7) years of experience related to Electrical Power Monitoring Systems; Building Automation Systems, Systems Integration, and/or Energy Management Systems
- Direct experience with deployment of Schneider Electric proprietary software such as Power Monitoring Expert and EcoStruxure Power Operations
- Configuration and networking of power and energy meters including ION 9000 and Power Meters (PM 5000/8000 /HDPM6000)
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret contract specifications and electrical drawing packages
- Good understanding of industry standard communication protocols with an emphasis on Modbus, IEC 61850, and BACnet
- Thorough understanding of the basics of electricity, power generation, power distribution, and power quality concepts
- Stable work history
- Willingness to travel 30% of time
Qualifications, Desirable:
- Experience working around electrical equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, etc.
- Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware
- HMI configuration experience, including graphical screen development
Skills:
- Be open minded and creative
- Self-driven and ability to take decisions
- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to communicate efficiently (oral & written) by listening and sharing information with internal and external stakeholders
