MRI, a woman-owned Technologies and Engineering Services company, has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Power Systems Engineer for HALO on the JETS II Contract at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. We are looking for an Electrical Power Systems (EPS) Engineer to support Gateway's Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) project. HALO is the first pressurized module for NASA's Gateway, an outpost that will orbit the moon and provide a temporary home and workplace for astronauts. Then, you will help review/tailor the software algorithms to ensure the software is performing the required functions at the correct time. This is an oversight role that will not need to write software/code, but will need to understand what is needed, review it, and provide comments. We are excited about what we do, and we need you on our team as we take on exciting challenges for NASA's pursuits in deep space exploration.

As an Electrical Power Systems Engineer for HALO you will:
  • Ensure requirements are satisfied by the software design solutions by reading pseudo-code and functions

  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Must be willing to work onsite at Johnson Space Center

Requisition Preferences:
