Role Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate candidate for the role of Marketing Director. This is a full-time remote position requiring 10+ years of experience in the US market. This role is for our long-term client which is one of the top Law firms in California.

As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for supervising the marketing activities in the US market. This would include but not limited to, creating annual marketing plans, conducting market research, and managing quarterly marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with the team here in the US to comprehend their business needs and goals and develop efficient marketing strategies to help them achieve their objectives.


Job Responsibilities:


Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies that align with the firm's overall business objectives and revenue goals

Brand Management: 

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels, aligning with the core value proposition.
  • Overseeing the production and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and website content.

Lead Generation:

  • Create and execute lead-generation plans that deliver significant volumes of marketing-qualified leads cost-effectively, including organic SEO, email marketing, social media, and new marketing channels
  • Coordinating events and sponsorship to build relationships with clients and prospects
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as industry associations, trade groups, and media outlets.

Content Creation:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging legal technical content that educates the client’s target audience about the services and showcases the value of their deep legal expertise and solutions.
  • Building marketing assets like case studies, whitepapers, videos, blogs, etc.
  • Organic SEO: Optimizing website elements such as meta tags, headers, and content for targeted keywords

Team Leadership:

  • Creating and managing the firm's marketing budget, including tracking expenses and measuring return on investment.
  • Working with leadership, sales, and operations team to build a high-performing and mission-driven marketing team.

Performance Metrics:

  • Set and report KPIs for marketing efforts focused on driving up awareness among client’s target customers, lead generation, lead conversion rates, and driving down customer acquisition cost.
  • Ability to monitor key performance metrics and make real-time decisions based on findings with a focus on maximizing lead generation
  • Technical SEO: Ensuring the website’s technical aspects (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability) are optimized.
  • Regularly monitor and report on conversion metrics, including website visits, form submissions, downloads, and sale
  • Marketing responsibilities include monthly reporting on the new case retention database. Reporting includes showcasing monthly intake calls received, the number of inquiries conducted, cases accepted and rejected, and the number pending determination from Wix CRM.

Market Analysis:

  • Oversees and evaluates market research/new industry opportunities and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions

Social Media Management: 

  • Develop social media strategies and manage corporate social media channels (, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to increase followers, and engagement to ultimately build awareness and drive leads.


Skill Set

  • Understanding of B2C marketing.
  • Experience with various marketing tools (email campaign, social media advertising, analytics)
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of Marketing principles and strategies
  • Experience in Sales and client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of Marketing principles and strategies
  • Highly articulate, story-telling capability
  • Strong understanding of prevalent digital marketing technologies

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Able to work in PST time zones and has experience catering to the North American market.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBA with specialization in marketing or brand management
  • 10 years of professional work experience in business and corporate Marketing. Legal marketing experience is a plus
  • Valid US B1/B2 visa
