What you will be doing:

  • Cooperation and coordination with the parent company in Germany to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies targeted to appropriate customers.
  • Regular communication of sales marketing and competitive activity.
  • Monitor and critically evaluate performance of sales channels (i.e. representatives and distributors) to the market(s).
  • Extensive direct lobbying to key customers.
  • Monitor market trends in respect to product development pricing levels commission/ discounting structures and promotions.
  • In coordination with parent company in Germany develop and implement marketing plans to ensure maximum exposure to the relevant market segments including sales seminars print advertising trade shows editorial content regular mailouts and direct sales calls to key clientele.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and existing accounts for the purpose of expanding the profile of the company’s brand.
  • Manage customer lists/databases and log and track all changes to accounts and contacts lead distribution marketing activity and all customer interactions (i.e. meetings important telephone discussions etc.).
  • In cooperation with application engineering staff and internal sales develop quotations and manage their logging followup and tracking.
  • Prepare presentation material for internal use and for use by agents and distributors.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of control systems and safety philosophies.

Experience you will need:

  • The Regional Sales Manager shall have strong technical competence in the field of Industrial Business to Business sales.
  • Experience selling to OEM’s is very valuable.
  • Background in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and an understanding of modern safety philosophies is a plus.
