Job Overview:

Grants Coordinator I will provide Investigator grant services including data entry, verification, tracking and processing grant payments. The Grants Coordinator I will work closely with the global Grants administration team and effectively communicate cross-functionally between finance and project teams through all phases of the study.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes duties of a Grants Coordinator I:

  • Set-up individual site budgets in the appropriate payment tracking system
  • Review, verify and process Investigator payments as required by contract
  • Invoice coding and filing to ensure financial transparency for all payments
  • Generate investigative site payment reports for project team review
  • Coordinate with the Grants team to ensure workflow progression
  • Coordinate grant payment activities with the appropriate Project Management staff and Finance to assure timely Investigator payments.
  • Support Grants department communication and inquiries
  • Respond to project team and site questions regarding grant payments.
  • Participate in the ongoing set-up and transition of the grants payment system to assure that it meets business needs
  • Provide excellent customer service and timely site issue resolution
  • Provide site payment documentation for sponsor audits, as requested
  • Assist team with troubleshooting payment issues, in a timely fashion
  • Participate in new project Kick-off Meetings
  • Other administrative duties as assigned to support the department, as assigned by manager

Job Requirements:

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience in Clinical Research and/or Finance related activities.
  • Skills/Competencies
