Overview:The Assistant Manager Collection Process plays a crucial role in overseeing the collection process within the organization. They are responsible for managing a team of collection agents ensuring timely collections and developing strategies to minimize bad debts. The role is vital in maintaining a healthy cash flow and minimizing financial losses due to overdue accounts.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of collection agents
  • Develop and implement collection strategies and plans
  • Review and analyze collection reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with collection laws and regulations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the collection team
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline collection processes
  • Prepare regular reports for management regarding collection performance
  • Assist in the development of collection policies and procedures
  • Identify trends and potential risks in the collection process
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field
  • Proven experience in collections or related financial role
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading teams
  • Strong knowledge of collection laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in using collection software and MS Office applications
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
