Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consulting care to in-patients and/or out-patients
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in medical staff leadership activities
  • Maintain clinical activity and participate in team meetings
  • Collaborate in developing team priorities, patient goals, and care plans
  • Keep patient care plans updated for team members
  • Approve orders and referrals for health maintenance

Qualifications

MD or MBBS with board certification in psychiatry. Licensed to practice medicine in CT.

Experience: Completion of accredited residency and psychiatry programs

Physical Demand: MMR, Varivax, Hepatitis B vaccinations required. Exposure to infectious diseases possible.
