Join our team at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital as a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist for an 18-bed inpatient Psychiatry unit, working with a full nursing and support staff. Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consulting care to in-patients and/or out-patients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in medical staff leadership activities
- Maintain clinical activity and participate in team meetings
- Collaborate in developing team priorities, patient goals, and care plans
- Keep patient care plans updated for team members
- Approve orders and referrals for health maintenance
Qualifications
MD or MBBS with board certification in psychiatry. Licensed to practice medicine in CT.
Experience: Completion of accredited residency and psychiatry programs
Physical Demand: MMR, Varivax, Hepatitis B vaccinations required. Exposure to infectious diseases possible.
