Global Financial Services is responsible for providing Billing and Fixed Assets management services to various Lockheed Martin business area partners.

This position's primary responsibility is to provide billing support to multiple GFS Billing analysts.

Billing:


This position is responsible for assisting with billings, and may include timely and accurate billings, timely problem resolution, and maintaining appropriate invoicing controls.

Some contact with customers may also required to ensure consistent, timely cash flow. Maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting related accounting issues and transactions may also required. This position may require providing assistance with contract analysis and reconciliation; will support continuous process improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated previous experience performing Accounting, Finance or Economics related tasks (experience can be obtained through college coursework/projects, internships or on the job)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and proficiency in Microsoft office products (Excel, Word) is also expected.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive, diverse team environment is expected.
Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience performing accounting journal transaction posting and related impacts
  • Demonstrated experience performing analytical and evaluation tasks
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and performing multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated user level proficiency with Financial Accounting software and systems
  • Ability to maintain required financial controls and to support audits as necessary

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
