Maintains operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration
The team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management
Will work closely with the customer and peer personnel to accomplish these responsibilities
Provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues
Assist the Information Assurance team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents
Qualifications:
Minimim of 9 years of experience, or 7 with an advanced degree
Must have Active Secret clearance to start, must be SCI eligible (preferred)
Adept with Red Hat Linux
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows
Awareness of IBM AIX and Cisco IOS
Background with Jira Server Managmeent (JSM)
Integration experince is a must
Knowledge/experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development is highly preferred
Security admin with cyber knowlege in Splunk / cyber security suite on a development program is highly preferred
Configuration management - RHEL/RedHat, Splunk, Ansible, JSM, Terraform, SaS scanning experience, PostGresSQL 9-15, Bash and Ansible are all highly preferred
