Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at Isys Technologies. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for maintaining the operation of our multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, and COTS software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the operation of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, and COTS software products.
  • Monitor and correct system performance issues, back up and restore files, patch system and operating system software, and maintain software licenses.
  • Assist the Information Assurance team with account management and system vulnerability management.
  • Provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues.
  • Assist the Information Assurance team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience, or 7 with an advanced degree.
  • Active Secret clearance to start, must be SCI eligible (preferred).
  • Adept/Primary experience with RedHat Linux.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
  • Awareness of SGI IRIX, Sun Solaris IBM AIX and Cisco IOS.
  • Experience/Familiarity with DevSecOps.
  • Background with Jira Server Management (JSM).
  • Integration experience.
  • Knowledge/Experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development is highly preferred.
  • Security admin with cyber knowledge in Splunk/Cyber Security Suite on a development program is highly preferred.
  • Configuration management - RHEL/RedHat, Splunk, Ansible, JSM, Terraform, SaS scanning experience, PostGresSQL 9-15, Bash and Ansible are all highly preferred.
  • Security+ Required.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station.

Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required.

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
