Join our team as a Production Technician, where you will be responsible for operating extrusion equipment essential for producing top-notch thermoplastic resins. This position entails following standard work methods and safety practices to optimize efficiency and ensure a secure work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating extrusion/injection molding equipment
- Filling machine hoppers with the correct material
- Adjusting machine parameters
- Cleaning equipment
- Observing operations for defects or malfunctions
- Operating a forklift
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position.
Work Site: This is a fully on-site role in Evansville, Indiana.
Work Environment: The work environment is family-friendly and clean, with a somewhat climate-controlled setting. There may be more dust in the blender room, but other areas are tidy. Associates may encounter fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. Noise levels and temperatures vary. The role involves standing, walking, using hands, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Shifts are 12 hours long, rotating on a schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off, with flexibility required for overtime and weekends.
