The Heroes Hall of Fame, located in Arlington, Texas, stands as a premier national institution dedicated to honoring the extraordinary service members who have received the highest accolade, the Medal of Honor.

Going beyond a mere war memorial or military museum, the Heroes Hall of Fame offers a profound narrative experience, delving into the remarkable stories of individuals who displayed exceptional courage and selflessness. Encompassing an impressive 100,000 square feet area adjacent to five acres of waterfront in Arlington, Texas, the Hall of Fame features over 31,000 square feet of Exhibition Galleries, alongside dedicated spaces for gatherings, symposiums, memorials, and ceremonies. Additionally, it serves as the headquarters of the National Medal of Honor Griffin Institute, advocating for our nation's core values symbolized by the Medal of Honor. THE POSITION

Under the guidance of the General Manager, the Event Sales Director will spearhead the development and implementation of sales strategies specifically tailored for private events to maximize revenue potential. This pivotal role involves recruiting, training, leading, and motivating a team to enhance sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in sales and management, with a knack for analyzing metrics, data, and leveraging insights to drive strategic decisions. The Event Sales Director should excel in public speaking, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and cultivate a positive and energetic sales environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the event sales department, overseeing managers handling diverse sales functions including private events and catering.
  • Demonstrate expertise in devising and executing sales strategies, campaigns, and programs for private events.
  • Implement ongoing training programs to boost sales team performance and productivity effectively.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through sales calls, presentations, industry events, and client engagements.
  • Develop and utilize dashboards and CRM reports to monitor campaign effectiveness and sales team productivity.
  • Collaborate on revenue-generating initiatives with cross-functional teams and support overall sales objectives.
  • Contribute to budget planning and business development efforts.
  • Foster client relationships, uphold the brand image, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Stay informed about market trends, consumer behavior, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Enhance pricing models, adjust ticketing strategies, and refine revenue forecasts as needed.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales initiatives.
  • Establish protocols for various event procedures and oversee sales software maintenance.
  • Represent the venue during client tours and manage event-related administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to manage invoicing and financial transactions accurately.
  • Develop SOPs and training materials for sales team operations.
  • Work with marketing teams to create impactful campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
  • At least 7 years of experience in high-volume sales management.
  • Track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets, particularly in private events sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution.
  • Proven leadership skills in sales environments, encompassing coaching, mentoring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Strategic thinking, innovation, and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong financial acumen, including analysis, budgeting, and deal structuring.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to provide valuable insights to senior management.
  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and ticketing platforms.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Willingness to travel for business needs.
