You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk's 50,000 employees.

FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. The Position

Based on assigned area of accountability will be required to either assist with all elements of developing a reliability-centered maintenance organization related to expansion project or if supporting a fully operational area, will be required to reduce the time for technicians to perform maintenance work by anticipating, planning & coordinating maintenance jobs & projects.

Essential Functions

Maintain SAP master data & maintenance plans for assigned processesPrepare PM work packages for maintenance technicians to include required documents, parts & specialized toolsProcess confirmation of preventive maintenance (PMs)Work with logistics & operations to schedule planned maintenance activitiesEvaluate the effectiveness of preventive maintenance tasks & frequenciesIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance tactics & strategiesParticipate in work order reviews to identify recurring failuresDocument review to include Non-Conformity (NC) support, Change Request (CR) support & SOP reviewSupport reliability team response activities for assigned process(es), to include documenting identified problems & working to provide quick resolutionParticipate in plant Closedown Team planning & executionFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther accountabilities, as assigned Physical Requirements Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Routinely operates & inspects manufacturing equipment using hands. Ability to be on feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May require corrected vision to 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder. May be required to work at elevated heights. Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous materials. May be required to wear gloves. Occasionally performs critical job functions in extremely cold work environments. Occasionally positions oneself within confined spaces for inspection, repair & maintenance of equipment. Ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protection. Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Able to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks. Does not require a valid drivers license. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMay consider an Associate's degree from an accredited university with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in maintenance/engineering field or equivalent military/industrial training requiredMinimum of three (3) years' experience in maintenance/engineering field or equivalent military/industrial training required, preferably in a pharmaceutical environmentKnowledgeable in at least one of the following systems/utilities required: HVAC, aseptic processes, automated assembly, automated packaging, compressed air, steam, chilled water, pharmaceutical utilities, fermentation, sterilization, water purification preferredWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or control systems preferredExcellent maintenance craft skills preferredKnowledgeable in fundamentals of cLEAN and/or reliability excellence preferredComputer Literacy: Excellent computer skills to include SAP & Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) requiredAbility to demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving & troubleshooting preferredAttention to detail, ability to think critically & sequentially with proven time management skills preferredDemonstrable experience with the planning of maintenance activities preferredExcellent communication skills preferred We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
