Be an integrated member of our Customer Operations team, contributing to key projects and diving into Sales and Marketing systems and processes. Gain experience with hands on CRM application administration while you work closely with the Customer Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
This will be a 12-week paid internship for the summer, 20 hours per week. Pay rate is $18/hour.
Location: This position can be based in our Portland, OR, office, hybrid, or fully remote.
Projects/ Goals:

  • Identify and merge duplicate accounts:
    • Research and ensure accounts are truly duplicates
    • Update outdated information on the account
    • Set LinkedIn match if available in Sales Navigator tab
  • Configure account hierarchies:
    • Identify parent/child relationships (i.e. HQ/satellite location) and set parent account field where appropriate
  • Research accounts on assigned lists (e.g. Edu/Gov/Studio)
    • Update account information
    • Deactivate contacts no longer at company/institution
    • Add new relevant contacts based on guidance from Sales team
  • Clean-up and re-classify category, segment and industry for accounts and opportunities

Ideal background:

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as business administration or information systems administration
  • Strong interest in learning and growing in the field of data management
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the organization.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
