We're looking for an Executive Creative Director on our Brand Experience team who will partner with our strategists, brand designers, experience designers, and art directors to guide and shape our next wave of digital launches for companies looking to change how we eat, shop, explore, and live. You are passionate about bringing new products to market and will use your knowledge and creative intuition to push our work to new places. You'll work across every design stage– from launching new sites and products to prototyping high-fidelity solutions– and help create meaningful and holistic digital experiences that bring our clients' ideas to life.

Who you are:

  • You have 12+ years of visual design, XD, and branding experience working at a creative agency, startup, or similar environment. In addition, you've spent 3+ years in previous leadership roles and can effectively oversee the quality and efficacy of our digital team's work. You are passionate about brand design with a digital focus and want to build successful brand experiences that thrive in culture through a multi-disciplinary approach to design.
  • You have a killer design aesthetic and an excellent handle on user experience and digital strategy. You know how to push creative teams to imagine new ways of bringing digital experiences to life through interaction and content.
  • You have a sharp understanding of UX design principles and prototyping tools and an equally polished portfolio showcasing your UI/visual design capabilities. You're passionate about culture and emerging technology, and it's a plus if you have a strong grasp of CSS, Javascript, HTML5, and front-end development trends.
  • You are experienced with system and process mapping, familiar with wireframing functionality for features and content, and have advanced experience in Figma and familiarity with other UX/UI design tools. You can also create sitemaps.
  • You have a solid understanding of motion and other visual disciplines and expert knowledge of product design methodologies and interaction design.
  • You want to partner with interdisciplinary leads to develop a vision for something yet to be defined, working with copywriters, brand designers, and art directors to create something new across every customer touchpoint.
  • You can build trust and guide clients through our creative process. You can define and establish digital processes that align with client and internal needs.
  • You'll be an arbiter of our digital vision and will find opportunities to foster this vision within the team and agency. You'll help us push digital design to tell evocative brand stories that create emotional connections with consumers.
  • You possess a thoughtful perspective on craft, tools, and processes and will help our team apply best practices for human-centric design to common visual and usability challenges. However, you can also propose optimizations and creative approaches that most impact users' needs.
  • You will collaborate with our business development team and help advise on digital opportunities with potential clients that express our distinct digital POV. You can effectively scope projects and consult on deliverables and project team casting during the planning stages, which will help optimize success. You will also help clarify and define client and success metrics that maximize business impact.
  • You are a mentor and a leader, and you will be excited to manage and grow our team of digital designers. You're optimistic but also have a problem-solving mindset.
