The successful candidate will join the Servicing Strategy & Disputes Banking team, which is a team of highly skilled professionals that defines policy and procedures, designs strategy, partners in building banking capabilities, and develops monitoring controls.

This position would participate in foundational controls and processes compliant with Banking regulations, for commercial and consumer banking programs. In this role, you will collaborate with the multiple partners including product teams, legal, compliance, servicing operations, Digital Banking platform, technology, vendors, and capabilities teams. Successful candidates implement compliant strategies that drive great customer experience and offer robust fraud and credit controls.

Key responsibilities include:

Fraud Servicing and Disputes risk controls for banking product.Communicate effectively across teams and gain credibility by understanding end to end impacts of the fraud strategies that are implemented.Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the firm including: business, technology, product management, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, and technology to drive engagement with the fraud prevention program of work and timely execution of risk controls.Design, deploy and monitor Risk KPIs for efficient governance of risk controls via enterprise tools (e.g. CDITs, KRIs, PRSAs). Risk Management Strategy: support risk management strategies for American Express Deposit Products, monitor growth and trends in the portfolio and evaluate new data sources to enhance Credit & Fraud risk strategies.Execution of risk-related policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives: Critically evaluate our risk-related policies and procedures and drive execution of the next generation of improvements and strategic initiatives. Qualifications: Experience in Fraud Risk & dispute management for online and mobile environment is strongly desired.Strong project management skillset, comfort in development/modification of multiple integrated technology platforms.Understanding of consumer and commercial banking credit & fraud analysis. Background/ experience in analytics preferred.Fluency with data manipulation tools like Python, Tableau, or SQL plus experience in data-driven decision making strongly preferred.Logical, consultative, and adaptive to changing conditions. Able to work in a very dynamic environment.Strategic thinking, ability to work independently and prioritize in real-time.Positive energy and excellent communication skills.MBA/MS or advanced degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields preferred. Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
