The Division of GASTROENTEROLOGY AT STONY BROOK MEDICINE is recruiting a full-time Physician Scientist or Ph.
D. reporting directly to the Chief of Gastroenterology.

SCIENTIST:
Required Qualifications:
MD, DO, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical care and clinical, translational or basic research in the field of Gastroenterology. Will be responsible for research, patient care and teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in clinical, translational, and/or basic research is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have exhibited a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge of the field of Gastroenterology, as well as demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical, educational, and academic excellence.
SCIENTIST:
Required Qualifications:
PhD, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Experience in translational or basic research in the field of Gastroenterology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in translational, and/or basic research is preferred.
