Position Overview: The Department of Medicine is seeking a dedicated full-time General Internist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to provide primary healthcare services and engage in educational activities.

Practice Environment: The Outpatient General Medicine Faculty Practice is recognized as a Level 3 NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, featuring a comprehensive electronic medical record system and a well-established transitions of care program. This role offers opportunities for mentoring medical students, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and conducting health services research.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Required: Candidates must possess an MD (or equivalent) and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. A valid medical license in the state is necessary or candidates must be eligible to obtain one.
  • Preferred: Completion of a fellowship in general medicine or geriatric medicine, or experience in clinical primary care is highly desirable.
