PRIOR AUTHORIZATION NURSE JOB
Summary:

  • Provide processing and communication of specialty medication prior authorization (PA) requests reviewed by the Specialty Medical Prior Authorization department.
  • Work with physician office staff and customer service, admissions and pharmacy operations departments to communicate prior authorization status.
  • Oversee fax processing and provide telephone call assistance for prescriber office staff, pharmacies and members based on program criteria.
  • Maintain complete and accurate, documentation of all necessary information is necessary and will involve computer system data entry, data management, and reporting.

PRIOR AUTHORIZATION NURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Working hours will vary. Shift range include:
    Sunday " Saturday 8:
    00 AM " 6:
    00 PM CST.
  • 100% REMOTE opportunity- Must be in USA.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
  • The compensation for this role is $37.17 per hour, paid weekly.

PRIOR AUTHORIZATION NURSE
Qualifications:

  • Active LPN License in the State of residence
  • Prior Authorization and/or Utilization Review, call center experience working for a health plan OR specialty pharmacy REQUIRED
  • High speed internet required
  • Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision
  • Computer savvy
