Job Description:

This position is crucial for gathering business requirements and generating reports essential for the maintenance of the Labor Management System and Performance program within the NAM Distribution Center network. The main focus lies in analyzing data trends and offering insights to the Engineering and Operations team. Additionally, the role involves handling bonus calculations and ensuring data accuracy through validations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of reporting options, identifying warehouse-specific gaps and aligning them with operational and business needs.
  • Ensure that business objectives are fully supported and aligned within the data framework across the network.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with the business to establish efficient reporting practices.

Reporting Creation:

  • Develop reports and backend solutions using Oracle.
  • Construct user-friendly reports for end-users using BI solutions.
  • Define business requirements for additional data feeds to/from WMS or other systems.

Analytics:

  • Analyze data sets and provide feedback to the Program Manager or DC Operations teams on data anomalies.
  • Identify patterns and resolve issues related to data collection accuracy.
  • Collaborate with DC Operations and Engineering on new job functions requiring performance metrics. Offer data-driven recommendations based on findings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • SQL
  • Experience in RDB DWH development and management (PLSQL preferred)
  • Power BI
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Preferred experience in a distribution center or warehousing facility
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in presenting data to non-technical stakeholders at various levels of detail

Essential Functions:

While carrying out job duties, the employee must:

  • Regularly communicate and listen; engage in various physical activities for up to twelve (12) hours/day.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance during scheduled hours.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor's degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience.
