HERFF JONES, Laser Machine Operator
Location: Edwardsville, KS
Shift: 3rd Shift: 11pm- 7am - $1.25 additional pay per hour differential
Starting Pay: $17.55 per hour
This is a seasonal position (now through June) Mandatory overtime during peak season including weekends.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Herff Jones Yearbook team is looking for a Laser Operator to join our team in Edwardsville, KS.
HERE'S HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
As a member of the Yearbook Cover Department Production Team, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment printing high school and college yearbooks to help our customers celebrate some of their greatest achievements. As the Laser Operator you will use a laser cutter to customize yearbook covers.
· Laser cut covers that meet the high quality standards of the Herff Jones Cover Department and at a rate in expectation of the daily/weekly plant quotas for production.
· Complete scheduled maintenance on laser machine during shift.
· Check for quality.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
· High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, order confirmation sheets and work orders.
· Ability to work all hours needed including overtime and weekends.
· Experience operating laser cutting machine.
