The Cleaning Operations Lead is tasked with providing direction, motivation, and support to a team of custodial staff.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conducts quality assurance inspections within designated areas of responsibility.

+ Ensures that quality and satisfaction levels are consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.

+ Guarantees the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

+ Aids in the Training and Development of team members.

+ Offers guidance on safety protocols, cleaning methods, procedures, and chemical usage to the cleaning team.

+ Addresses crew members regarding punctuality, attendance, and work performance, utilizing proper documentation methods.

+ Leads and collaborates with a team to ensure the successful execution of assigned tasks.

+ Responsible for overseeing and leading the shift in the absence of the Supervisor.

+ When the Supervisor is present, the Lead may direct smaller work groups.

+ Assists the Supervisor and Shift Manager in overseeing field employees.

+ While this position does not hold disciplinary authority, it is expected that the Lead will report performance issues to the Supervisor.

+ Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with passengers, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.

+ Adheres to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set forth by the Company, Clients, and regulatory bodies.

Essential Functions

+ Provides leadership and direction to team members.

+ Facilitates open communication between field employees and management.

+ Offers constructive coaching to team members.

+ Assists in training housekeeping staff and organizing work assignments.

+ Aids in creating daily and weekly work schedules.

+ Oversees and executes cleaning operations in assigned facilities.

+ Manages keys and access cards for the property.

+ Reports any damaged, broken, or non-functional items.

+ Ensures that premises are secured at all times.

+ Oversees and fulfills additional service requests in assigned facilities.

+ Collaborates with the Area Manager to schedule jobs with the Property Manager and cleaning crew.

+ Coordinates the scheduling of the cleaning team.

+ Monitors the quality of work and confirms completion with the Area Manager.

+ Provides training to all new hires assigned to the facility.

+ Participates in all meetings and training sessions related to the assigned property and crew.

+ Completes time sheets, verifies their accuracy, and submits them to the office.

+ Checks supplies, equipment, and chemicals on a weekly basis.

+ Accurately completes order forms.

+ Coordinates equipment usage and maintains inventories.

+ Performs all tasks and duties required of the team.

+ Undertakes miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ 1-2 years of custodial experience.

+ 1-2 years of leadership experience.
