The CNC Programmer will be responsible for:

  • Create manufacturing processes for both new and existing multi-axis parts.
  • Experience with Mill-Turn is highly preferred, though experience with 5-axis milling is also acceptable.
  • Design work holding solutions and fixtures.
  • Program parts and fixtures using CAD/CAM software.
  • Utilize machine simulation software to ensure code is free from collisions.
  • Assist in quoting new projects, providing design-for-manufacturability feedback to customers.
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes as needed to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for both new and existing parts.
  • Consult with supervisors, other programmers, and end users to gather details about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, inputs, outputs, checks and controls, hardware, operating system environment, and interfaces with other systems.
  • Translate designs and specifications into computer code.
  • Provide technical support by addressing inquiries related to errors, issues, or questions with programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The successful CNC Programmer will have what follows:

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming, along with a minimum of 3 years of CNC experience and strong computer skills.
  • Proficient in GD&T.
  • A self-starter who is self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Possesses a positive attitude with a strong focus on internal and customer satisfaction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Take ownership of projects to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • On-the-job CAD/CAM training and growth opportunities will be available for motivated candidates.
