Position Overview:
We have openings for two shifts: first shift (Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM) and second shift (Monday to Thursday, 3 PM - 1:30 AM, with shift differential). We seek skilled Machinists who are passionate about their craft and possess the ability to set up, troubleshoot, and operate high-tolerance components on CNC mills and lathes. Candidates with experience in either area are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a mentoring atmosphere, aiding team members in their professional development.
  • Program jobs using MasterCam 2024 or G/M codes to create parts per customer specifications.
  • Set up and operate various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines, to manufacture parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Review work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to determine the necessary machining processes, tooling, and materials.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of machines and tools, performing routine checks to uphold accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to discuss project requirements, provide input on manufacturability, and troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality and compliance with tolerance standards, making adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments, making corrections to meet quality benchmarks.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Machinist, with proficiency in operating various machining tools and equipment.
  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate production.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming (MasterCam experience is a plus) and operation is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality output.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Adherence to safety regulations and best practices in machining.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with safety regulations.
