Position Overview:
We have openings for two shifts: first shift (Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm) and second shift (Monday to Thursday, 3pm-1:30am, with shift differential). We seek skilled Machinists who are dedicated to excellence in their craft, capable of setting up, troubleshooting, and operating high-tolerance components on CNC mills and lathes. Candidates with experience in either area are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a supportive mentoring environment for team members.
  • Program jobs using MasterCam 2024 or G/M codes to meet customer specifications.
  • Set up and operate various machining equipment, including lathes and CNC machines, to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine machining processes and required materials.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of machinery, performing routine checks to maintain accuracy.
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to discuss project requirements and troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality and adherence to tolerance standards.
  • Conduct inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments and make necessary adjustments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Machinist with proficiency in operating various machining tools.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments for accurate production.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and operation is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Commitment to safety regulations and best practices in machining.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with safety regulations.
